Engineering Advantage
Acadia Windows & Doors' products are some of the heaviest and most durable in the industry
today, built to keep working and looking great year after year after year after year.
Lineals
Typical wall thickness and the multitude of structural chambers integral to the design, range
between 35-65% more vinyl than the typical windows being sold in today's marketplace.
German engineering with over 30 years of proven success in world-wide climate conditions.
American Architectural Manufacturing Association (AAMA) tested and certified —
superior, tested ratings for impact, temperature and UV when compared to
typical windows sold in the market today (complete AAMA test results available
upon request).
Products
Fabricated to more exacting standards than other products currently
on the market.
Consistently higher performance when tested for design pressure,
forced entry, air filtration and water filtration.
Standard stainless steel operating hardware — unlike competitors —
significantly increases the trouble-free operation of
Acadia windows and doors.
Proprietary design structural reinforcing and spacer bars
not only sets Acadia apart from the competition, but also
allows our products to meet curtain-wall and high-rise
design standards.
Glass
Typical insulated glass units (IGU's) in Acadia windows
and doors use structural spacers and "Ti-Tec" glass for optimal energy savings and strength.
The Acadia window and door IGU's are custom fabricated by hand featuring a variety of grid
patterns permanently secured and maintain one of the highest success rates in the industry.
To optimize the insulating value, Acadia window and door IGU's are filled with inert, nontoxic
argon gas.
